I am interested in places, which are not reachable for the human being. The gap, which emerges from the imperceptible, creates a room that stirs abstract imagination and can be filled with new forms. These new forms are inspired by nature, already known worlds and things, which are at the edge of being perceivable. They play with human perception and questions of what-if. What if I was outside of the universe?
Starting at the deep sea and asking what could live there, the journey quickly continued in space with stars, planets and black holes. What is it like to be at a place that is physically unreachable? How can something be imagined that is unknown? What does life on another planet look like? After some time in space, the journey left these far away places and returned to the very small and near – quantum particles, microorganisms and ones own inside such as thoughts, feelings, memories and dreams. What if reality or time broke? What if the line between reality and dreams blurred? Everything is just a glimpse into something unknown.
