You land on a shipwreck and walk through dust to activate fragments of a dead star. They give you what you need, so you don’t forget why you are here.
In “Earthendark” the world is made of 3D shapes covered in shiny tiles. Only some things include pieces of photography, everything else was produced digitally. The sound effects and soundtrack were composed with the program Soundtrap entirely. “Earthendark” was developed with the game engine Godot.
“Earthendark” was exhibited in the group exhibition “last seen recently”, which took place at the Künstler:innenhaus in Bremen from January 25 until February 9 2025. For the installation I built a desk and chair, which visitors could sit on to play the game. Both items of furniture were covered in the same tiles that can be found in the game.
