“Jellytied” is a short video game composed of different ideas and submissions from people. Its development started during an interactive performance inspired by the concept of game jams. A station was set up, where people could submit what they would like the game to be – for example visuals, characters, gameplay or sound effects. During the game jam and the week afterwards, those ideas were put in the game.

The soundtrack consists of a recording of rain and digital music. The visual elements were painted with markers and the sound effects were created digitally – only the jump sound is a recording. “Jellytied” was developed with the game engine Godot.

The event was part of a program from the HfK’s Meisterschüler*innen exhibition “what is that invisible thing your arm is resting on” at Weserburg in Bremen. It took place on June 20 2025. My game “Destilysion” was part of the exhibition – the game jam was an additional event.
