2D mini dodge-the-monsters survival game for PC
The Adventures Of Berry And Minty is a short game, in which you move two characters – Berry and Minty – through a small world. Both characters are controlled simultaneously. The goal is to survive for 709 seconds until the song is over.
All animated elements of the game are fineliner drawings and the background is an acrylic painting. The sound effects are made of recordings from everyday life objects and a piano composition was fragmented and mixed with digital music to create the soundtrack. The Adventures Of Berry And Minty was developed with the game engine Godot.
It is recommended to play the game with a controller.
The Adventures Of Berry And Minty was part of the exhibition series „ad hoc“ at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen. Drawings and the background painting from The Adventures Of Berry And Minty were displayed in the room, while the game was projected on a wall and available to be played by visitors.
